We exist so that good intentions become lasting institutions.
HIC Consulting was founded on a simple observation: India’s social sector is full of brilliant, committed people — but too often they are held back by thin funding, overstretched teams and systems that never had time to be built.
2022
The year we started. Four years and 10+ NGO partnerships later, our focus hasn’t changed: stronger organisations, deeper impact.
We work with NGOs, trusts, foundations, social enterprises and community-based organisations — the socially active institutions that reach the people markets and governments often miss.
Our role is to take on the problems that sit just outside your programme work: the strategy that needs sharpening, the CSR proposal that needs writing, the M&E system that needs building, the board that needs restructuring. We bring structure and outside perspective, and we work closely with your team so the capability stays with you.
We are deliberately small. Every engagement is led by senior people, and we only take on as many partners as we can serve well.
